Productivity Commission submission

The Commission made a submission to the Senate Economics Legislation Committee inquiry into the Future Made in Australia (FMIA) legislation.

The submission welcomes the National Interest Framework (NIF) being adopted by the government to guide its FMIA investments.

The submission also advises that careful policy design and implementation of the FMIA program and the NIF will be critical to the effective operation of the program.

The Commission provided the submission to the Committee on 31 July 2024 and it was published on the Commission’s website on 2 August 2024.
